Bujinkan means Training Hall of the Divine Warrior Spirit.


Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu is the umbrella term given by Dr Masaaki Hatsumi to his approach to teaching the nine complementary systems handed down by his teacher, Toshitsugu Takamatsu, who was considered by many to be the ‘last true ninja.’


Commonly known as ninjutsu, the Bujinkan covers a diverse range of skills, disciplines and strategies. Bujinkan budo taijutsu maintains its c\practitioners are on active duty in security, police and armed forces throughout the world.


At its highest level, the Bujinkan is a path to personal development and self-awareness through physical training. There is always something new to learn.


Dr Masaaki Hatsumi, Soke still teaches at the Hombu dojo in Noda, Japan. He is considered a National Living Treasure in Japan and is a remarkable martial artist, calligrapher and artist.
